I think @wopo should be able to assist.

Looks like it's related to the chip. It seems as though the chip works with the init image (it seemed like that from the log) but not with the sysupgrade image produced by wopo. I tried to compile and image with the patches but you tried that and it didn't work.

Fantastic. So booted using initramfs and then did a sysupgrade from the shell. All using the custom images from wopo @ https://github.com/ThranduilII/openwrt/files/11399622/Openwrt-22.03.5-X5000R-Zbit-support.zip

Keep in mind that you won't be able to use any regular images until support for your memory chip reaches openwrt proper.
