Can you please try to do this on ksmbd.conf.template?

#smb2 max read = 64K
	#smb2 max write = 64K
	#smb2 max trans = 64K

In our device I think is too small that setting...
Comment that setting.

if you confirm that it will be better I propose a change in upstream

I've commented out as suggested in this post and now I get 112 MB/s read (almost doble speed than before) and ~100 MB/s writes (a small decrease here) over 1Gbps LAN port with ksmbd.
Probably those settings can be optimized further.
Client is Wn 11 PC.
