@liamhere

On a wireless device, like a iphone or Android, can you see the 5Ghz SSID, and can you connect?

NO....just checked my android p9....nothing showing up

none are now showing up

@liamhere

That all looks correct, and the interface is enabled.  Is it the same story for 5Ghz?

Also, do or have you SSH'd into the router yet?

yes now both are unknown now?

i am login in via webpage....SSH is not my thing sad

wish you could remote access  me...this is doing my head in  smile

They are both unknown, because there are no wireless association.

Have you rebooted yet?

ill turn it off and back on again....give me a mo

After the system comes back up, copy the Kernel log so we can see what Wifi is doing after the reboot.

after rebooting router still

hope that helps smile

Both wireless are discovered but never go into the forwarding state.

Without SSH it's hard to see what's going on in the background..

Well, have you tried manually disabling both wireless and saving the configuration... Then reboot and enable both interfaces and save the configuration.

Hi at davidc502 if i install your build is there a way for me to install the luci adblock plugin?

@tapper,

I'm testing a new build with new packages that will include adblock.  Everything looks good so far, so I should be posting it up on the server later today.

did that nothing changed...just flashed back to stock to check the radio is working all all ok on stock  sad

It's a lede configuration issue on this build. It's hard to say what needs to be changed.

@liamhere,This seems to be happening frequently on new installs as of late, mostly shelby devices it seems. Doing this followed by bouncing your wifi, wifi down; wifi up, seems to be enough to get things working. Sometimes just bouncing wifi. From ssh though.

Helo David,
I'm WRT1900ACS with LEDE . Previusly I used a WRT1900AC v1 with your fw too. Thanks for your job, are really good!!

Are you planing to update the repo of the latest LEDE? I miss adblock, transmission, etc.

Thanks

I've had some difficulties with the repo, but am starting to build it back up.

Right now I'm adding modules by request, so what package names will you be needing?

I specially miss Transmission and Adblock

Thanks!!

Was recommended, but he/she had already bounced back to stock before it could be executed.

Hi @davidc502 when you put the new build up can you post a link pleas to make sure i get the rite file thanks

The new build is failing due to curl.  Looks like something that will take time to sort out.

Hi davidc502

Thanks for your great work on the firmware, have been running your LEDE builds for quite some time now on my 1900ACS V1 and I never had issues. Only with your last build from 9. October I lost 5GHz wireless sometime during the night (country CH, channel 36), the 2,4GHz (Channel 11) continued to work. 5GHz WLAN LED was still lighting but no client was connecting. Disabling and enabling wireless & reboot didn't help. I didn't have time to play with the settings or do a reset with clean reconfiguring so I went back to last build from 6. October with 4.4.23 kernel, 5GHz running again.

For upgrade I always reset the router, then boot into stock partition, upgrade firmware and do another reset and than import the settings from backup.
