I've seen those in the logs for some time now, but haven't seen a direct problem because of them.

@starcms < Would you happen to know what they mean?

r4707 just crashed/rebooted for me after a few weeks of run time. Was downloading a 6GB game at my max speed while it happened.

I plan to update momentarily.

Have you tried VLAN 40 on the WAN Interface as well?

What else I noticed is that apparently the router switched the channel by itself.
In setting I have the channel 64 and it was 64 after reboot.

Now I see the router is on channel 149

In the logs I see

This might be a DFS channel for the area in which you live. If so, then the router listens for a radar signal, and if detected will automatically change to a NON DFS channel.

The idea with changing channels is so the routers Wifi emissions will not interfere with Radar in the area which runs at the same frequency.

So, this would be normal

This is my first time posting here, please go easy one me!

I have used openwrt for more than 4 years and I absolute love your work
Last night, I think I just botched my 3200 ACM upgrade.
a.doko.moe/hcikou.png
I tried upgrading a dozen more times and the result is just the same. The 4.9.51 is botched and I have to boot into the 4.9.44 one. I think my OEM firmware is gone forever.
When I tried to boot to the 4.9.51, it gave my PC an weird address: 192.168.1.129 and the Ethernet light still flashing, but I cannot do anything else.
So any idea why this happened?
Should and how can I erase my other partition? I can live with 4.9.44 for the rest of my life

Having a slight configuration issue with Adblock since the last version was posted. When I got to Services-->Adblock-->Overview I don't see the screen that previously allowed me to choose which blocking lists to use by simply selecting them and clicking Save. The good news is that it appears to be working fine has my last config installed. What I get on the screen is this:

Please update your adblock config file to use this package. In OPKG use the '--force-maintainer' option to overwrite the pre-existing config file or download a fresh default config from here
Powered by LuCI Master (git-17.260.43176-678c15c) / Lede Reboot SNAPSHOT r4901-ab26fc6c8d

Any suggestions?
TIA,
Rob

Hi Rob,
I had the same UI display issue.  I followed the message about refreshing the "adblock" config.  I copied the existing config in /etc/configs/adblock and then replaced the content.  There is a link presented on the adblock page.

I saved the file and then went to the "startup" section and restarted adblock.

I did notice that everything came up as default so i had to reset my options and enable the service.
I also noticed that there are times when the page does not render correctly by not showing the page values. I disabled and enabled the service and clicked save/apply.  That appears to have fixed the display issue

I hope this helps.

I have a WRT3200acm with the latest Rango 2017-09-22. I've not seen any rebooting yet but I have the problem with reconnecting to AC wifi from my Galaxy Note 4. After reconnecting, the connection seems OK but no internet. If I remove the connection from my phone and reconnect it again, the internet works again.

That did the trick along with a restart after the config change. Did need to reset a few options but all good. Thanks.

r4901 has been up and running for 8 days now on my 3200, rock solid, no crashes, logs are clean.

Had same issue and did the suggested steps and now adblock is alive and well and can be managed through the UI. I do not know if david includes the new config file in his r4901 build. I normally install and do a restore from previous build so I do get bitten from time to time and this might have been one of them. wink

Hi. How can I install multiwan package? Can't find it in web menu and can't install it through ssh

I do see luci-app-mwan3 is available?? Not sure is this is what you are looking for?

Anyhow, if using the 4.4.x kernel, the package path was wrong, and needs to be corrected. Are you a 1900ac Version 1 owner?

Version 1 users with kernel 4.4, be sure to change the source packages to the following links.

But I have other question, as I know NRPE packet for monitoring is not supported?

Hi all. I've been having a persistent issue with OpenWRT/LEDE on my AC1200, and I haven't had much luck at all with determining a cause, partly because it's so difficult to come up with a successful search that describes my issues. Hopefully someone here can help me out.

Wifi works perfectly, absolutely no issues there. The wired connection however, doesn't work perfectly, and it doesn't work perfectly in some weird ways that make me think the issue is with the router. It connects without issue at 1Gps, both on a Win10 desktop machine and a Win7 desktop machine, both with hardware less than 3 years old. Both machines and the router are on UPS battery-backed outlets. Each machine will connect to the network instantly, find all network devices, initiate file transfers to each other and to a NAS, and for the most part, surf the internet with no problems. However, weird things happen when using the wired connection that do not happen on the Wifi connection: occasionally websites will fail to load, downloading large files will start, and then slowdown and completely stop: example, trying to download a iso from ubuntu.com or getfedora.com. File transfers between machines aren't "smooth", they run at the max rate for a few seconds, then come to a stop for a few seconds, then run at the max rate, come to stop, etc. What makes it weirder is that if several transfers are running concurrently, they all work. Example: download an iso from ubuntu.com, wait for it to come to a stop, then start a test at speedtest.net, and the ubuntu transfer will start again, only to stop when the speedtest completes. Then start a file transfer between machines, and the iso download will start again. There are no issues like this when using the Wifi connection on the Windows 10 machine, or any other device that connects via Wifi.

This problem has persisted pretty much ever since I installed OpenWRT on this router about 9 months ago, across several different official and 3rd party builds. It took me a while at first to actually notice and figure out what was going on, and when I found out that my Win10 machine worked fine over Wifi, I put it on the back burner for a few months as it wasn't something that was really noticeable for the person using the Win7 machine which has only wired ethernet. Now, the Win7 machine's use case has changed and I need to get this issue sorted out.

The router is a WRT1200ACv2, and it's currently on Davidc502's 09/22 LEDE build, but like I said, this has persisted across multiple OpenWRT and LEDE builds, including NVRAM wipes and running with default settings. Any suggestions?

To rule  out software flash back to OEM on both partitions and then back to latest LEDE. Making sure to not save any settings when doing any flashing. Then look at hardware like the cables or swapping out the PSU for the router. One more thing is that do you have your router close to any other electronics. Some times you can have interference from one devices to an other. I had this one time from a overclocked GPU to my wrt54gv2.

What about the stock firmware?

I don't recall having had these problems with the stock firmware, as I used it for about 2 months before installing OpenWRT. I never reverted back to stock because I found that my workaround worked well enough and I preferred to keep the features that OpenWRT provides.

edit: I have gone back to stock before, when I was troubleshooting and switching between different builds.

I would suspect the Win7 wired network config. Maybe static IP address not provisioned by the router or something else in the Win7 networking setup.

I also have a Win7 machine wired into the router LAN on a WRT1200ac just v1 without any of your difficulties. I just reinstalled the latest factory.img firmware in the router from the stock Linksys OEM partition user interface to overwrite the previous davidc502 build and everything works fine so far with almost default settings.
