So my router does not have 5gz network for some reason
While searching for solutions i realized that i could install a custom firmware.
I followed this instructions and ive tried to install the factory image, but when i upload it on my
A1 Version firmware 1.30 dlink 878 (Exacly the same as the video) It pops an error saying upgrade failed!
Ive tried several times but it never installs. why?
Can someone explain me what i did wrong and what are my solutions?

If the upload from the Recovery GUI hangs and doesn't do anything, refer to this forum topic for an alternative exploit that can be used in older versions of the stock firmware to get OpenWrt installed.

Yes I did!
I managed to solve it !
I basically installed the same version that on the video is showed.
Then the sys upgrade from the video as well. then i Sysupgraded to the latest version from the lucy interface. and it seems like it worked.
Sadly the 5ghz band still is not working. I just oppened the router and i removed the antena cables and reconnected them and i still dont have the 5ghz band. Its weird because in the first day that i setup the router. like a week ago . I speed test both bands and they were visible.
How come the 5ghz band died?
For others on this topic
from v24 onwards, just download the factory image
and upgrade through the normal d-link firmware upgrade interface
as the recover interface will only work in windows operating systems, not Linux
and uses the recovery image not factory from V24 onwards
