Updating dependencies

Hi All

i have some additional packages installed on my setup. I am updating on a regular basis only those additionally installed. My question is how to update also dependencies installed with those packages?

I did not make notes what dependencies were installed with those additional packages i installed so i am wondering if there is a way of doing that...

Thanks for any replies.

The safest (and easiest) way would be to use the image builder to repackage your firmware and flash it, instead of installing (and updating) packages every time. Leaves you with more storage space as well.

Oh Man! This is awsome.

However i think i found an issue with that script.

I have installed package named 'tc'.

Your script, in my case has updated package named 'uclient-fetch' which was not in overlay but it contain 'tc' in its name. Do you know how to fix that?

Fixed:

# grep -h 2>&1 | grep -i -e whole.line
	-x	Match whole lines only

Thanks a lot. All fine after that...
