Some devices may not have yet been built. Have patience, the hamsters powering the build boxes are running as fast as they can.

Really excited for this, it's been ages!

Anyone know if there is any updated install guide/documentation? The main web page www.openwrt.org looks like it hasn't been updated since 2015

Asking because currently running davidc502's build on my WRT32X and would love to start from scratch and try out the stable release but would need the newest mwlwifi drivers too.

by the time it's done they should name it 18.08

Found the mvebu build yesterday and upgraded from 17.01.3 for linksys wrt1900ac_v1, works smoothly and the new wifi driver is definitely a lot better.:smirk:

The old look of the website was an explicit requirement for the openwrt-lede merge by some old devs who controlled the openwrt.org domain. So it looks like in 2011...

No official announcement yet, but I just flashed my Archer C7 v2 from 18.06RC2 to this one successfully.

Understood, mainly I meant no mention of a big new release, no installation guide, etc. Wish there was something I could help out writing if it got neglected.

Well, the release is not yet officially released, so no wonder that there is no big announcement on the front page, yet. We should not jump the gun.

But apparently a larger release info page is being prepared behind the scenes: https://openwrt.org/releases/18.06/notes-18.06.0

For most devices there is no need for any special installation instructions or such.

I had a problem with 18.06 on mvebu wrt1200ac. I couldnt log in into luci before and after I set the password. After I installed luci-ssl it worked.

If you were using SSL on the old build, it could be because your browser cache insists on redirecting to https. Clear the cache.

Clean 18.06 installed this morning on WRT1900ACS, working great so far.

I have 18.06 Running on a TP-Link TL-WDR3600. So far so good. The LUCI web interface has a few changes and is a little more colorful than previous releases I have used.

Netgert R6100 can not find 802.11ac in Wireless Setting with 18.06,but 17.01.4 have,Please help

@Willen - please provide the complete output of dmesg

@jow Why didn't you bump kernel before the release?

sit is broken now in the 4.9 kernel. But upstream fix it long ago enough. Just the next kernel 4.9.112.

Lack of time. WIll happen with .1

Sorry,I don`t konw what dmesg is.But I find this in my Kernel Log.

@Willen Thanks. I've ordered an R6100 now and will investigate once it arrived. Consider downgrading to LEDE 17.01.5 and wait until 18.06.1 for the issue to be fixed.

I found the same errors in my Archer C5, but everything is working as far as I could test.
