You can do both.
To reset: firstboot && reboot. But I doubt in your case, it looks like a corrupted part of Luci.
It's stable 23.05.2.

dont you have any backup file? @Rayz
You still have ssh access: recreate your custom build, sysupgrade it without keeping settings, restore your settings. This should restore any corrupted part in Luci.
