SMB with Windows 11

i have a problem with SMB ...

befoe , a long tpme , not this problem

i use guest without password in smb configuration

Is the SMB server on OpenWrt?

what is the output from your OpenWrt router when you run the following:

ubus call system board

yes SMB server on OpenWrt ( ksmbd )

I have this:

root@WR1200JS-251:/# ubus call system board
{
        "kernel": "5.10.116",
        "hostname": "WR1200JS-251",
        "system": "MediaTek MT7621 ver:1 eco:3",
        "model": "YouHua WR1200JS",
        "board_name": "youhua,wr1200js",
        "rootfs_type": "squashfs",
        "release": {
                "distribution": "OpenWrt",
                "version": "22.03.0-rc3",
                "revision": "r19378-9f415792e1",
                "target": "ramips/mt7621",
                "description": "OpenWrt 22.03.0-rc3 r19378-9f415792e1"
        }
}

You should update to 22.03.1 (stable).
Then make sure you've installed samba4-server

Tested just at this time with 22.03.1 r 19777 and always same problem

i use ksmbd because samba4 requiert big flash SPI memory ( only 16 M )

Does your device have a USB port or an SD card slot? if so, you can use extroot which will give you more space.

I have no problem when i use:

ls /mnt/sda1

USB key is mounted no problem

I go to my bed !!!

Next day i test with an old Windows7 computer ...

I usually just use guest, with no password, and it works...

Tested at this time with Windows 10 - Version 2004 and no problem
