I am set to 192.168.2.1 and ran ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew but failed to get an IP address
my phone connected to the broadcasted wifi got a new ip but still has no internet connection
I am set to 192.168.2.1 and ran ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew but failed to get an IP address

I'm now ready to suggest a reset and to setup the 305 locally.
Leave everything else as default.
FYI, the 2.4 GHz AP should be available as soon as you set it up and you should be able to disconnect the Ethernet cord.
ok I will try it
would you be able to guide me though it so its 100% correct this time
I just did:
Perform no other steps before posting here to inform us.
sorry, I just expected more details, but I can work with that
thats everything setup just waiting for it to apply
???
You also need to browse to this new IP with your client's new DHCP lease - or it will revert!
I did the apply without revert option and connected to 192.168.2.1 that part is working
What part isn't working (we can't guess)?
I have a 2.4GHz broadcast but no 5GHz broadcast says disabled in LuCi but is enabled
Has your STA connected yet?
(We've discussed this.)
STA shows as connected
Please post wireless config.
it was because I changed the RE450 back to DFS, Sorry I did that but I need to somehow be compliant to ofcom
band A can not be used outside
band B can no used inside and outside
band C is paid for
thats why I did it
anyway not I am back on channel 48 its broadcasting but no internet connection
I will try and get the config but will have to use laptop and somehow move it to my pc

I think that write copied from earlier and changed the part that have changed
Again:
You'll need to ask someone who knows about ofcom regulations, I have no clue what you're talking about - and what you're saying makes no sense in FCC land.
If you know you cannot set a legal channel, then I would advise closing this topic.
No, you connect to the 2.4 GHz AP and browse to 192.168.2.1 as we discussed already.
Also, did you add WWAN to the WAN firewall zone?
as long as I don't use it outside I should be fine for now until I work it out
but I also need DFS for the speed, so is there a way to get it working
I could have do that, why didn't I think of that
WWAN is in the WAN zone
I donno, especially since I told you:
still no internet connection though
should wwan have an IP
