Hello, I am new to using Openwrt and I am trying to set up a Raspberry Pi 3 mod. B as Vpn router connected to the main router with Ethernet cable.
So my set up is Main router---> Ethernet Cable----> Raspberry with Openwrt.
I can reach the Openwrt GUI and make changes but I am unable to reach internet or ping any address from the raspberry.
I am new to this and wondering what I am missing.
Use ssh to connect to the device.
Please run the following commands (copy-paste the whole block) and paste the output here, using the "Preformatted text </>

ls -l /etc/resolv.* /tmp/resolv.* /tmp/resolv.*/* ; head -n -0 /etc/resolv.* /tmp/resolv.* /tmp/resolv.*/*
thanks for the answer, here the results

if your pi only have one interface, the IP needs to be on the same subnet as the main router's.
set it hard, and don't forget to disable the pi's DHCP, or change the lan interface to DHCP client.
can you please be more specific and describe how to do it?
this is literally my first rodeo
change the above in /etc/config/network
to
when you've done this, and restarted, you'll have to check the main router which IP the Pi received.
Run these:
uci del dhcp.lan.ra
uci del dhcp.lan.ra_flags
uci del dhcp.lan.dhcpv6
uci del dhcp.lan.domain
uci set dhcp.lan.ignore='1'
uci del network.lan.ipaddr
uci del network.lan.netmask
uci set network.lan.proto='dhcp'
uci commit
service dnsmasq restart
ifup lan
Received some error but it worked fine.
