OpenWrt support for ZTE zxhn f680

Hello, a newbs question,
I have ROUTER ZTE zxhn f680 i want to convert it to access point by installing openwrt but i didnt find it how to do it ? can you help me plz ? thank you

If your device is not on the list of supported devices, you'd need to port OpenWrt to it. If you're not a programmer and aren't familiar with DTS-files used to initialize the Linux-kernel and all that, then no, you can't do it.

How can we do it please ? i m not a programmer but i can try to do it if you have for me tutoriel for his method ?thanx to you

should be supportable

https://fccid.io/Q78-ZXHNF680V9/

is support and need to convert ?

Convert what, from what, to what?

him say this

im zte zxhn f680 too if my device support please help me brother

if you can do it for me i can give you coffee or something i not have knowledge

I'm trying to work on the support for this device, this is the information which I've been found:

According with this read-only topic of the older OpenWRT forum:

ZTE ZXHN F660 openwrt support

Until now we have the informations:

It's possible to connect on the router shell using telnet with a ethernet cable connected on a LAN port unter the default gateway IP address 192.168.1.1 on port 23.

The telnet details:
user: root
password: Zte521

If you open the router (caution, this implies in lost of warranty)

It's possible to see pin headers where you can acess a serial port:
(OBS: The pins are not soldered by default, you have to solder them yourself.)

The Serial port config is: 115200 8n1.

From the log displayed on the serial port it's possible to retrieve more info like, the bootloader used is the U-boot.

This is the entire boot log:

(I put on the gist because of charactes limit)

For the serial terminal the credentials for the root user aren't the same as for the root when logging wirth telnet.

To acces the serial shell:
user: root
password: root

But with telnet is possible to retrieve some interesting info like:

Busybox Version

BusyBox v1.01 (2016.10.11-03:28+0000) multi-call binary

Usage: busybox [function] [arguments]...
   or: [function] [arguments]...

BusyBox is a multi-call binary that combines many common Unix
utilities into a single executable. Most people will create a
link to busybox for each function they wish to use and BusyBox
will act like whatever it was invoked as!

Currently defined functions:
[, ash, awk, brctl, busybox, cat, chmod, cmp, cp, cut, date, df,
diagput, echo, egrep, free, fuser, getty, grep, hexdump, hostname,
ifconfig, init, insmod, kill, killall, linuxrc, ln, login, ls,
lsmod, mkdir, mknod, mount, mv, passwd, ping, ping6, ps, pwd,
reboot, rm, rmdir, rmmod, sed, sh, sleep, sync, test, tftp, top,
        traceroute, umount, wget

Could someone on @admin of OpenWRT project take this info and create a page about this router please? I'm new at the OpenWRT project but I already have some experience under embedded linux.

I earned the 'basic' badge, but I still can't create a wiki page. Could you please create the page 'ZTE ZXHN F660' under the ZTE devices homepage, so I can edit adding all the data I've gathered from this router?

did you find a way to support this device? I have same modem but a cant flash any firmware, however I have no knowledge to do programming or hack this modem
