I have a ZBT WE3526, and the stable release image doesn't work on it. Snapshot does.
When is snapshot being merged/ported to stable? my company wants to stick to a stable version.
Probably, some "donation" would help here. Especially, as it sounds like some type of commercial/business use.

You could:
- submit a bug report against the stable release, if you can describe the problem with sufficient detail
- fix the stable release yourself, and perhaps propose a patch for integration into OpenWrt
- hire someone to do this work
No date has been announced yet for the next major release.
I suggest you look at the OpenWrt version history and make your own guess.
