OpenWrt One - CE and Frequency Range

I recently ordered the "OpenWrt One" device from the provided link (AliExpress), but customs is now requesting valid hardware specifications that include the "OpenWrt One" name, as well as the frequency ranges for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

I’ve already submitted the following documents:
FCC ID, 2BLLI-HW24, DTS, Grant PDF
FCC ID, 2BLLI-HW24, NII, Grant PDF

However, customs has indicated that these documents are U.S.-specific and are not applicable for Europe (referred to as "WIFI Region 1"). I’ve seen post from others who successfully got their units through German customs, suggesting the device is compliant for Europe.

Additionally, I submitted the following document:
LCSA09264046E Attestation of Compliance PDF
But customs has not accepted it as a valid CE mark.

Can anyone guide me on where to obtain the required documents that would meet European standards?

All of the required certifications can be found here

https://one.openwrt.org/hardware/certification/

Your submitted lab report kind of contains that

I need approval for the compliant frequency ranges for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz in Europe.

That's what I sent, but unfortunately, it wasn't considered valid.

Scan through huge test reports pdf, there should be map of antenna gain and signal per channel. Keywords EIRP, mW, dBm ....

To my knowledge all three documents you submitted have complied with the required certifications for the EU Member States and I don’t believe there have been any concerns with other forum members here that reside in EU Member States over issues with importation of this device to any EU countries.

It seems the first two documents clearly show the frequency ranges for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ranges and the third certifies the device complies with the EU standards.

Hopefully others here residing in the EU can confirm.

Example - router in every store around.

Actual detailed report contains response levels across frequency ranges, ipo "available for competent authority" they are available to general public.

in the URL above, there is also a ZIP file: https://one.openwrt.org/hardware/certification/OpenWrt%20One%20CE%2BFCC%2BROHS%20certification.zip , containing a lot more pdfs. It is even grouped in FCC and CE documents. Perhaps you sent the FCC one instead of the CE ones?

Of course it’s not valid, it has a big purple worthless lab report stamp on the managers signature on a worthless peace of paper.
And this obviously isn’t the “EU declaration of conformity”, because it doesn’t say in the headline “EU declaration of conformity”, also see the general note no 5 on this worthless paper.
Wonder if there actually is a valid signature under the stamp?

And the general remark no 4 pretty much say the wifi can do more than allowed in EU.

Or more likely not checked in customs at all!

EU private citizens are importing billions of “china export” (a little “CE” EU joke) goods without paying any meaningful delivery charge (since China is a developing country) every day in to the EU inner market pretty much always illegal because it is the private citizen as importer to the inner market that becomes responsible that the product actually apply to all laws in all countries in the whole of EU.

And I personally doubt anyone check anything at all when buying anything from China.

But sometimes the EU customs on the outer border actually help the private importer with this legality check like in this case.

FCC documents, well EU doesn’t give a s…t about US laws and regulations so those documents are definitively guaranteed absolutely not approved in EU.

That could be the case. I'll try sending the CE document to customs one more time and hope it gets approved. Thanks for your help!

Currently, I have sent a CE document with frequency ranges and E.I.R.P. [dBm]. I'll wait for customs' response and see what happens. Thanks for the advice!

OpenWrt One is CE, LVD and RED certified, its all in the certification ZIP

I’m confident that OpenWrt One is CE certified, I just need customs to verify it. For now, I’ve submitted a CE document from the zip file and will wait for their response.

Its all in the ZIP, the attestation that it complies with ETSI norms as well as individual testing reports for them.

They don’t ask about the CE declaration.

Competent institution in this case is not customs, but national customer protection office.

Like I said, its also LVD and RED certified (Hence legal for RF emissions in EU)
