For raw routing performance you probably want to look at the custom device tree described in this thread
It sacrifices a physical button to give you symmetric 1Gbps routing (rather than 1Gbps total). Failing that hw offload seems to work fine. Some people (myself included) have had stability issues running 22.03.x. I'm now trying master as a last-ditch attempt to avoid rebooting every 2-3 days.
