@slh I see that the OpenVPN management interface is not compiled by default. What is the reason to have it disabled? Could it be compiled by default for future OpenWRT versions?

Ask the maintainer of the OpenVPN package, not me (I'm not even using OpenVPN, nor ever did, beyond a cursory evaluation almost a decade ago).
