No network -> wireless page

mk24

There won't be wifi interfaces on the main page until you set them up in Network--Wireless.

If there isn't a network wireless page the driver may not be present. In that case the wifi chip is ath5k. Is kmod-ath5k installed?

Realize this is an old b/g only chip.

My question is how do i do that?
I am a apsolute noob for that kind of staff.

  • Are you trying to ping @mk24?
  • How would he know if it's installed...did you you check if knod-ath5k was installed?

If you searched the software page, then you can install the package.

opkg update
opkg install kmod-ath5k

(Yes, drivers are usually installed by default in OpenWrt firmware, though.)
