Continuing the discussion from TPLink AX73 uses OpenWrt, so can we modify it?:

Hello! I use to upgrade my routers with Openwrt and am grateful for the continuous improvements.
Since the legacy version 12.09-rc1, is it possible to summarize major improvements deployed till nowadays?

I recognize that was not clear. I referred about version improvements compared to most recent 23.05 and not inside legacy release 12.09.

if you can't install 23.05, does it matter ?

openwrt uses external source code, for a delta between the openwrt 12.09 kernel, and the 23.05 kernel, check the kernel sources.
same goes for all external packages, they're not maintained here.

or you need to define "improvements".
