IPv6 - create subnet for command-line interface

Hi.

I've an interface created using terminal, not /etc/config/network file. Now I want to create an ipv6 subnet for that interface, and I think I've to use "ip6prefix", "ip6assign" options from that network file. The problem is, can I reference an interface which is not created in that file, even if it's correctly created and usable? (when I use "iw dev" I can see it with the parameters I wanted, I can also tcpdump on it, it receives packets... etc)

What's the way to do that?

And I have to create it through command-line because it needs to have some special modes/options that are not allowed in those files via UCI.

Any idea? The interface is called wlan1.
