excuse me but what is the command to see mac and ip and adapter name at the same time? ifconfig shows ip lspci shows pci device name im trying to figure by mac what device is lan or wan because i switched cables and still no internet and theorically if i switched of cables i could get at least opkg update sucessfull and it is not the case here

If you indeed have the drivers installed: ifconfig

ifconfig is not showing an Intel NIC. You are mistaken.

You only have 1 NIC (LAN) properly installed at this time, you need 2 (LAN and WAN).

Correct. But please note - seeing your device listed when running lspci doesn't mean the drivers are successfully installed. This command merely provides device information as seen on the PCI bus.

:spiral_notepad: Maybe it'll help if you showed us the output of the lspci command.

i am on it thank you for your kind support

Are you sure kmod-e1000e was included in your build as well?

Package list missing or not up-to-date, generating it.

still ifconfig not showing more than eth0 and if i can recall eth0 was the intel nic on the motherboard, so realtek is not showing

Let's try again one more time.

Install: kmod-e1000e. You only have kmod-e1000 (i.e. no e) listed.

Incorrect. The installed MAC address was non-Intel.

and opkg is working my dear similar nickname namesake!! im happy i was on it from since 1 week thank you for everyone now i have other question, should i create other ticket? (it was related shadowsocks, where i live there is heavy traffic throttling and censorship, im not a front liner but i just need to dont get my torrent traffic throttled and found cloaking as html may work

Yeah, open a new thread about shadowsocks.

can i ask what is the best cloak protocol here? or may i roam to other forum? i see answer time here is pretty fast, and you all are like the jack of all trades of information technology

Depends how the restrictions are implemented...

i was using openvpn tcp on 443 port but it got throttled maybe they are snooping the traffic because they are... i mean how they could know i was using vpn . unless they dpi firewall the traffic

  • Perhaps because you have non-stop asymmetric traffic on 443/tcp to the same DST IP?
  • and the DST is not an HTTPS server (imagine that)?
  • I assume at this time, other unencrypted traffic exiting WAN - ceases
