Hello there
I am trying to set up my old computer as a home router, but I am facing an issue when trying to use the integrated PCIe TP-Link 10/100 Ethernet network card.
I couldn't find the driver of the Ethernet controller.
Ethernet driver name :- TP-Link TF-3200
10/100Mbps PCI Network Adapter
Anyway what driver will do i find to run openwrt 2nd Ethernet ?
Here is log :-
root@OpenWrt:~# ip link

Relatek Ethernet driver is working.
So there is another one TP-Link TF-3200 10/100Mbps PCI Network Adapter from
04:05.0 Ethernet controller: Sundance Technology Inc / IC Plus Corp IC Plus IP100A Integrated 10/100 Ethernet MAC + PHY (rev 31).
This one driver PCI detected my pc so openwrt PCI Ethernet driver doesn't detected? What am I missing?
lspci -nn would be more conclusive, but presumably you'd need drivers/net/ethernet/dlink/sundance.ko (which is not packaged for OpenWrt, yet - shouldn't be too hard to package it up, but it would need doing).
This network card is ancient and the sundance driver is no longer supported in EL7. The drivers given by the network card vendor are for a much older version of the kernel and are unlikely to work on modern systems.
