i have an archer c7 v2
- Download openwrt factory bin
- rename to firmware.bin
then
errorcode 18005
upgrade unsuccessfully the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. please check the filename.
any idea ?

You can try to flash first the stock US firmware, and then flash the appropriate openwrt firmware. Works for me.
i have install firmware archerc7v2_en_eu_3_15_3_up_boot(180305)
archerc7v2_en_us180114 -> errorcode 18005
Show a picture of the label of the router to see exact version.
is run via recoverymode and tftp 
the problem is fixed. its going only by tftp.
