Hello folks,
as in the object I ask a sort of follow up for this topic:
I need as well to restore the old wireless naming for my custom build / setup. My release is shipping hostapd-common as package which contains configuration files not used by the demon itself (since not installed anyway). Here the list of the installed files:
/etc/capabilities/wpad.json
/usr/share/acl.d/wpad_acl.json
/lib/netifd/hostapd.sh
/etc/init.d/wpad
/etc/rc.button/wps
/lib/netifd/dhcp-get-server.sh
/usr/share/hostap/wdev.uc
/usr/share/hostap/common.uc
altough I reverted the hostapd patch:
it had no effect. But it seems right to me since the file hostpad.uc is not even installed. I think the patch resides at "low level" kernel patches. could you point that to me out ?
thanks in advance, Arturo
