Hi, @bruda please paste here image name what are you using. Thanks.
The image used is the one that danpawlik posted 3 days ago where he always puts the images that he compiles for us.
It is the last one he has made, I have marked it in blue for you.
This speed measurement is now very similar to the previous one I posted at 6g
MLO basically is a feature to let the client connected to AP through multiple radios at same time.
Thanks for the explanation, I didn't know that.
I think my wifi7 doesn't have that option, I also set the 5g speed that it gave me, and it wasn't as good as the 6g.
At least in the wifi7 configuration options in windows, it doesn't have it.
no it doesn't ... see previous thread on this
huum ... yes it may be related to a few changes i did on the mac80211.sh but really at this stage not worried about speeds... when you connect via VPN do you see the /proc/interrupts increase ?
With VPN the speed is sitting at 0mbps
I've put wireguard vpn on the image I posted above and these are the speeds in 6g.
Mediatek Feed Pre-release
!!! THIS IS VERY EARLY BUILD !!!.
the truth is that they are not bad at all for a free vpn.
you do know this thread is for official openwrt and not the heavily modified mediatek one
Good afternoon @rmandrad and @abunezar2030, this card will be good to use in banana pir r4 at 320mhz, and mlo.
If so, I'll buy it, I'll wait for your confirmation.
WiFi 7 QCNCM865
Although I always use Windows, I also have Ubuntu, but since I have a 2.5gb network card, if I had driver problems in Ubuntu, it wouldn't be a problem to compile, I would do it with the network card.
I await your responses to confirm the purchase, thanks
Forgive me, I didn't know that, I apologize, now that I know, I won't post anything about highly modified MediaTek.
As I mentioned, I apologize.
No need for an apology, was just clearing things up so people don't get confused, you may wanna move your topic to Banana Pi forums for that
Imo Qualcomm isn't all that good
Could you tell me which card would be the right one? I have an AMD and the be200 doesn't work. It's the only one I know. Apart from that, there's the MT7927, but I couldn't see the 6G from what I read.
If you can all help me choose the right one.
Let me know, thanks.
I think he is reporting the test image build by @danpawlik who was involved in our subject, so its okay.
For qualcomm cards, based on my experiense I have many cards from muttiple vendors such intel, meditek and realtek. I think they are the best in client mode when their driver is matured
If you are reporting about test image build by @danpawlik , , that's why I thought I should do it here, but if it's not the right place I apologize.
Right now I have MT7925, but I would like to buy the most suitable one for AMD, in another post of this thread I had been informed that Qualcomm QCNCM865, would be the best option for the characteristics of my computer, if I was not going to use Ubuntu.
As in Ubuntu I use the 2.5gb network card from the computer to compile, it was not necessary for it to work well in Ubuntu. I only wanted it for Windows
That's why, as you know more than me, if you agree that it is the most correct option, it was to make the purchase
In this thread @mathieulh told me that it was my best option, so I wanted to confirm it with you.
for now, I have not this card. but for confirmation; all infos mentioned in that thread are 100% true.
Thanks for your help, we will buy the qcncm865 card, so I have tried to find out and I think it is a good option for Windows.
I will buy it and I will let you know how it works.
I bought 2 be200 but since they were not compatible, I gave them to my brother and my niece who used Intel.
Thanks for your advice
I have the mt7925, mt7927, and the QCNCM865. Even on windows the QCNCM865 is slow. The mt7927 driver needs alot of work so isn't practical at the moment. The mt7925 works great on windows and Linux. The only downside is it only supports 160MHz. To get Bluetooth working on Linux I had to patch and build btusb.ko myself. It now works fine.
