Can anyone help when using openwrt on zyxel nbg6817 all stock settings I get barely 10mbps down(pay for 200). But when wiring directly into modem I get full 200, not know what is wrong since all settings are default. TY

Lots of possiblilities... thats about 11 to the power of 3 ( with just the one master ) ~ 370+ "stock + default" to choose from...
200/10mbps from the router? from a wired-client? wireless-client?
p.s. welcome 
... it would be helpful if you also mention the modem model ... and how stock firmware performs in the same configuration if you've tested it...
but the simple answer is try a switch in between or 18.06.latest / snapshot...
