I was trying to upgrade my Zyxel Armor Z2 router to the latest version, but get a message about an image mismatch, my hardware being version 1.0 and the image version 1.1. What should I do, can I still upgrade somehow?

if you already have openwrt running, it shouldn't be a problem.

Device zyxel,nbg6817 not supported by this image Supported devices: zyxel,nbg6817 nbg6817 - Image version mismatch: image 1.1, device 1.0. Please wipe config during upgrade (force required) or reinstall. Reason: Config cannot be migrated from swconfig to DSA Image check failed.
The uploaded image file does not contain a supported format. Make sure that you choose the generic image format for your platform.
Flash the image using force not keeping configuration and it should work. You have to configure the device again.
sysupgrade it, reset the config in the process.
you can always recover using TFTP.

Keep in mind that the network configuration syntax will differ (seconfig -> DSA), that's why you need to reconfigure from scratch.
