ZBT WG3526 - Sim Card not working?

Hi,

I´m trying to install Open WRT on my router:

I did the install instruction like this:

But there is no modem detected:

I can see also in the logs:

What I´m doing wrong?
In the init setup from the router (firmware), I was able to see the SIM Card number etc.

It looks like your modem is not in "QMI mode", Driver=cdc_ether.
I think you need to change +GTUSBMODE.

You need to access your router with ssh and then access your modem to run the AT-commands.
Install picocom, in your router, to access your modem.

  1. Use putty and the IP address of our router, from you PC, (or similar terminal software) to start the ssh session to your router.
  2. In the ssh session, start picocom /dev/ttyUSB0 to access you modem.

If you typ at and hit Enter and get a OK as response, then you have correct access to your modem. If not, try another USBport, to 0-3.

If you have access to your modem, typ AT+GTUSBMODE?, and Enter, to print current setup.
To change to "QMI mode" typ AT+GTUSBMODE=17, and Enter.
Exit picocom and power cycle your router.

To exit picocom, use CNTL-A followed by CNTL-X.

Disclaimer: I have not the exact same modem so I can´t verify all steps. But I have done similar changes in an other modem.
