XR500/R7800 Bad Block/nand work around?

Let me start off by saying I am a newb at this so forgive my ignorance.....
I have a XR500 which has some bad blocks so I am unable to flash openwrt from gui or tftp (bootloop) but whilst searching I stumbled over a DD-WRT image that had been altered so the bad blocks were overlooked/missed. I was able to successfully flash from Factory to DD-Wrt from the gui and then upgrade to the latest DD-Wrt.bin from there. Is there a OpenWrt file that I might able to do the same with?
Thanks

Try recent OpenWRT, it is better at erasing twice blocks that erase with error at first try.

Thanks Brada, I have tried openwrt-24.10.0-rc4-ipq806x-generic-netgear_xr500 but it just results in the router going into a boot loop I've also tried a lot of the older builds with the same result, I have also tried using older factory builds to start but sadly same result the only thing that has been successful is the doctored DD-Wrt file.
Thanks

Which image you uploaded and how?

I've tried pretty much all the first boot scripts (factory) for the XR500 from 22.03.0 to 24.10 .0-rc5 using the web gui and also tftp to flash which all result in bootloop, the only firmware that has been successful other than stock has been the DD-wrt which has been altered to avoid writing to bad nand block.
Thanks
