XR500 IPQ806x IPv6 Lease Time (OpenWrt 22.03.0)

Hello,

I set a static lease for my main computer, filled in the DUID and IPv6 hex fields, and while my IPv4 DHCP lease shows "infinite" time as I have specified, there is a 2 hour time limit for the DHCPv6 lease instead of infinite. Is this standard behavior, and if so what is the reason for it?

If not, can somebody tell me how I can set IPv6 lease time to infinite? I've searched the options, but am not seeing where I can change this parameter.

Thanks.

You can try ra_useleasetime

Can you explain this to me in layman's terms?

Add option ra_useleasetime '1' in lan pool in /etc/config/dhcp

Thanks for tip. Installed Midnight Commander and edited the file accordingly, rebooted the router, but unfortunately it still shows a lease time. Did ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew, but same issue.

Maybe the problem is in /tmp/hosts/odhcpd which still has the old value?

Negative. Opened odhcpd and just shows DUID and IPv6 address.
