Yes, rtl93xx is not the same as rtl838x/ rtl839x and has more advanced features in hardware and is faster to begin with, but…
rtl93xx support is very basic to begin with, meaning if you opt to choose use it, you will have to be more on the development side of things, than you'd need to be for rtl838x, but most of all the more advanced offloading features (such as -limited- routing acceleration) so far aren't implemented for OpenWrt at all.
tl;dr: no.
