X86_64 kvm system doesn't provide enough entropy to quickly generate high-quality random numbers

I use Centos7.4 LEDE | LEDE Reboot 17.01.3 r3533-d0bf257c46

This system doesn't provide enough entropy to quickly generate high-quality random numbers.

Lede identifies CPU, Model, KVM (Redhat, KVM, CPU), What is the reason for this? Does kernel compilation not open support for virtualized processors?

<domain type='kvm'>

   <boot dev='hd'/>
</os>
 <cpu mode='custom' match='exact'>
    <model fallback='allow'>Nehalem</model>
</cpu>

Going out on a limb, I think this may have to do with x86/64 systems booting 'faster' than the init/hotplud scripts expect them too (compared to non-x86). On LEDE Reboot 17.01.4 r3560-79f57e422d I have the same issue with an x64 AMD SoC:
