Wpa_supplicant: Authentication request to the driver failed

I'm trying to setup a wifi connection with a TP-LINK CPE510 v1.1 to another one of the same type. Unfortunately the connection is not being established. Therefore I tried to connect via commandline to log the error. Do you know why it fails?

  • Are you using WPA3?
    • If so, what packages did you install?

  • I would verify the SSID and passphrase, then
  • I'd test on channel 36 first

I double checked SSID an Key, but there are the same (copy & paste)

Channel 36 doesnt make any difference too.
