Any way to get WNDR4500 work with LEDE 17.1.4?

Doesn't look good for this device, see https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=31966

  1. It's Broadcom.
  2. It has NAND flash which seems to be problematic.
  3. The thread in the OpenWrt forum started in 2011, 7 years (!) ago, and still no support for this device.
