WLAN module (Mini PCIe)

Hello guys,

I have to buy some Mini PCIe WLAN module for OpenWRT Routers and would like to know, which chipsets are best to use with OpenWRT?

These specs are required:

  • Mini PCIe card (half- or fullsize, doesn't matter)
  • IPEX / U.FL antenna connectors (not MHL4 / IPEX4)
  • 3x3 MIMO (three antenna connectors)
  • WPA3 capable

Is there any preferred or well supported chipset vendor like Qualcomm, Broadcom, Intel, Ralink, or whatever?

Please no suggestion like "i like this one...". I only want to know what works best with OpenWRT.
