Will tp link archer c20 ac750 v5 EU firmware work with v5.8 IN? On the website it says US i think and not IN.
If i try to flash and it doesnt work, can i revert back to stock firmware?
On the site it also says gpl code. Does this mean this device firmware is open source?

Both on the router box and behind the router, it says:
Model: Archer C20(IN) Ver:5.8
On website there is no option for 5.8. Its probably 5 or 5.80.

See it is all US version. Verify that MAC address is from label and iw reg set IN ; iw list | less that wifi powers are reasonable (>=20sBm)

First upgrade to that exact OEM image you use to create factory image. Small chance OEM firmware pairs bootloader with their software version.

the only reason for DLing the TP-Link fw in the 1st place, is to extract the boot loader, you don't really need to flash it.
