WIFI master and client

Hi i'm trying to get the openwrt box to connect as a client to my fibre modem via wifi which has been done,
Then I want the openwrt box to serve clients internet via wifi. All via the GUI

Both are ""up" on the "wifi" page and I can connect to the openwrt access point with my mobile and get a dhcp address. (Not sure what i should use 192.168.1.1 is my fibre modem, I set openwrt master as 192.168.1.10 , what should I set the gateway too )

The openwrt client wifi is connected to my fibre modem, but the devices connected to the openwrt box can't access the internet . I suspect something to do with bridging ?

I created a new interface "bridge" and chose the two master and client to be bridged under physical settings.

I had this setup before on an older version of openwrt, can't seem to get it to go now .

No, you cannot just bridge the interfaces to make it work. You will need to use WDS, relayd, or create a mesh.
