Heya, I'd like to stand up an ASUS PN42 as an OpenWRT router a 2/2 Gig fiber. The goal is to SQM across a family, host Wireguard, possibly OpenVPN, etc.
We are in an area with a lot of 2.4/5Ghz interference, but the 6Ghz frequencies are totally clean. So I'd like to set up a WiFi 6E AP paired with the PN42. The box comes with some Intel WiFi 6E card, but I'm almost sure it's only good for being a client, not an AP.
Is there a WiFi 6E card y'all could recommend for my PN 42 for hosting a WiFi 6E AP? Or should I just not bother and simply get a WiFi 6E AP separately?
Many thanks!
