using the mobaterm connect to OpenWrt uart, i just want to know why it output xterm-256color?

Is this specific to 'mobaterm'?

If "no": Edit OP to remove unnecessary mention/distraction.
If "yes": Asking the Mobaterm devs might be more helpful.

'xterm-256color' is a 'terminal-type-definition' name. 'termcap' maybe a useful term to google for more information about the underlying situation.

NOT termcap, BUT terminfo
