tried the process view in Luci ?
this one http://192.168.170.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/status/processes ?
PID | Owner | Command | CPU usage (%) | Memory usage (%) | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
15037 | dnsmasq | /usr/sbin/dnsmasq -C /var/etc/dnsmasq.conf.cfg01411c -k -x /var/run/dnsmasq/dnsmasq.cfg01411c.pid | 0% | 20% |
1 | root | /sbin/procd | 0% | 1% | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
695 | logd | /sbin/logd -S 64 | 0% | 1% | |
749 | root | /sbin/rpcd -s /var/run/ubus/ubus.sock -t 30 | 0% | 1% |
...
yes.
now you know what's eating your RAM, are you perhaps using a router based adblocker ?
I had Adblock installed but uninstalled it, but could the blocklists still be stored in RAM and not deleted? How can I recognize this? I have installed Wireguard, could this be the problem?
AdguardHome is not yet installed, see here AdGuard Home (AGH) - Install on a usb device
you think adblock allocates a lot of RAM, it's probably nothing compared to AGH.
try restarting dnsmasq, hopefully the RAM will be deallocated.
If you want a more memory-efficient adblocker, try adblock-lean (I'm one of the developers). AGH is very memory-hungry.
Installed, nice! Some question, you gotta a DM
There is a forum topic for adblock-lean. Asking there gives you access to additional knowledgeable persons.
