Which router with OpenWRT instead of the Unifi Dream Machine?

I currently own a Unifi Dream Machine and am very satisfied. The device has a fast and clear interface, the Wi-fi has great coverage and is very fast. The super thing is the sensational support in continuous software updates.
However, what bothers me is the lack of trust in the company regarding privacy, something I have been putting a lot of emphasis on lately. And this has caused me to look around for a router with alternative software.

Please advise me in choosing a device that will be:

  • at least as powerful as my Unifi,
  • easy to install. I have no problem with commands. I want to avoid connecting or soldering strange wires to upload OpenWRT.
  • With a long community support in updating the software.

What would you recommend?

You want WiFi to be integrated?

Yes. I want router with Wi-Fi.

Dynalink WRX36 has been rock-solid for me and has impressive specs for the price.

Sophos XG-1x5 revision 3 either with the wifi card installed (w-models) or with added wifi card/pigtails.
