What model of router?

I am new to openwrt.
Sorry if the question has already been asked.
I would like to know if there are xDSL+wifi routers compatible with openwrt.
If yes, which ones ?

Looking in the list of compatible equipment it seems that only Wifi routers (without integrated ADSL modem) are compatible.

I'd pick a AC wifi capable device, if I were you, but that only leaves you with three options.

I think that people compiling their own firmware managed to get more recent VRX518 devices like FritzBox 7530 and/or 7590 operational under OpenWrt, see this thread.
