WAN port not fully connecting

I have a Linksys EA8300 running Openwrt 22.03.0

Initial setup has the LAN working but not the WAN. The WAN port is picking up an IP from an upstream router according to IPv4 Upstream on Status>>Overview.

But nothing is being passed to/from the LAN.

I've done the ten second reset, the 30-30-30 reset. I've restarted the WAN port but it stays red in Network>>Interfaces, as does WAN6

Bypassing the upstream router and connecting directly to the modem does not help.

I have the same problem on a Netgear R6350 with Openwrt 24.10.0

I'm very open to suggestions as to how I can move forward.

Thanks

That means that the WAN port is assigned in the WAN zone firewall. This is the default and expected behavior.
You propably have a bad configuration setting. Please share your config files (redacted).

This looks like a default configuration of OpenWrt.
If the wan interface has already gotten an IP from the uplink, you are good to go.
You can connect some device to the lan port and start browsing.
Or could you describe the problem that you are facing?
