Hi all. I would like to know if porting openwrt to said decoder is possible. it runs off the MIPS architecture, has linux/similar (openpli) and has ethernet. if not id like to get some instructions on how to port it.

Even if this would be possible to flash...what do you expect from a STB flashed with a router OS?
I don't think a Set Top Box is the appropriate hardware for a router.
But YMMV.
This DVB receiver uses (like the most) a Broadcom SoC, in this case a BCM7424.
You could check, how good the official linux kernel supports this SoC and its integrated network - but don't expect too much.
