I’m on a Versatel (1&1) GPON connection and want to use an OpenWrt router. Is the Zyxel PMG3000-D20B still the best way to handle the fiber, or are there better options now?
Anyone got this working with Versatel?
That depends on which router you are going to use.
I assume, not every device with a sfp cage accepts or handles the GPON module the same way.
What will always work is an external ONT with an ethernet connection.
