USBtoSerial not working with W 504V (ARV8539PW22)

Hi,

I try to flash a W 504V (ARV8539PW22), but the serial connection wont work.

If I connent TX + RX (PIN 2 +3 on DB-9) with mein USBtoSerial Adapter (pl2303) I get clear output, but could not enter the command mode:

If I also connect GND (PIN 5 on DB-9), I get not output.

What could be the Problem ?

You need a 3.3 volt serial adapter, not an RS-232 one. The RS232 one is likely to cause damage, and it can never work because the signal polarity is opposite.

Now I use my Raspberry Pi Zero with Minicom on Pins 6, 8 & 10.
