Usb drives missing

about 50% of the time i reboot my router my usb drives show as Not Present. There are 2 5tb drives plugged into a usb hub then into the usb3 port on the back of my wrt1900ac

1 of the drives has 3 partitions for data (ext4), swap and overlay while the other is all one data partition (ext4)

a few days ago i install the UAS driver after reviewing logs, not sure if that has anything todo with it.

What can i try to do to fix this?
how do i set - "Trying to use READ CAPACITY(16)."?
when it says "USB controller 0000:01:00.0 does not support streams" is that from the usb hub, drive or just software on openwrt?

Log from last night and its working today so this is a successful connection log

The first thing I would check is if that is a powered hub. In my experience, the power consumption is very high during boot with the CPU being loaded pretty heavily. Spinning up two disks adds significantly to that.

it is a powered hub - and for the most part has worked pretty good for a while.
its hard to pinpoint what made it start happening more frequently
i recently upgrade the drives from 2tb to 5tb
and reloaded openwrt (twice)

so theres been alot of changes recently
i will say im pretty sure i didnt have the UAS drivers previous though
