Is it possible to upgrade from the latest release of 23.05.4 to Snapshot keeping all the settings and configuration? Do I have to install the extra packages I have installed myself or it will be done automatically? Thanks
Really not recommended as snapshot has moved on to kernel 6.6 and newer basically everything.
Back up the current config to a file and reenter it manually to avoid issues.
You can give it a try, most things should work. There haven't been any major architectural changes in configuration since 23.05 branched, unless you have a device that got the DSA rework that happened mostly in 22, but some in 23 and I think some are still languishing.

You can try, but familiarize yourself with failsafe mode reset and certainly back up original configuration.
Please post output of ubus call system board , e.g. no point to get on daily updated snapshot on already stable device.
