Update firmware for router by openwrt

Dear Experts
I'm a Newbie.
I have bought a router which can be modify firmware via OPENWRT.
On Router have Serial port, I need add IEC 60870-5-101/104 conversion for router.
Does anyone can help me?
I can pay fee if you need.
Best.

What is the router? We need to know the hardware (brand, model, version) to help you. Pictures of the model information sticker on the device can help.

Please be patient. We cannot always answer questions immediately... I was eating dinner, for example.

This device is not supported by OpenWrt. There was a thread in the past, but it looks like it never materialized into making this device supported.

Dear Sir
Thank for your feedback.
Firstly, I'm sorry for making you misunderstand. Because I update my before comment, I leave the comment to say that I changed my comment.
About the Openwrt of RTUXR1 it support OpenWrt and have the same SDK file with RTUX10 Router.

On other hands, I see that Router RUTX10 have on list Openwrt. So, I think that RUTXR1 will be comletely similar to RUTX10

If you don’t mind the risk of permanent damage to your device, you can try the firmware for a similar model. Typically, though, this will result in a brick because the routers are usually different in some way - sometimes minor things like the mapping of leds and ports and stuff, other times major like chipsets.

Also, to be clear, sometimes vendors will pack multiple firmware variants into a single sdk or file bundle. Ubiquiti does this with many of their products where multiple devices are upgradable with the same bundle file, despite the fact that they require unique firmware files per device.

I would recommend that you ask the vendor or search their sdk to understand any differences between these models. Yours is currently not explicitly supported, so I would assume that this is for a reason (i.e. because there are differences), unless evidence to the contrary is presented.

Dear Sir
I want to find code library for IEC60870-5-101/104 conversion firstly because I can't find it anywhere. Do you have this code library?
I have a other solution. I know some of Routers have IEC60870-5-101/104 conversion function, but I dont know how to get code inside it.

You will have to ask the vendor for this support.

Dear Sir
I asked the vendor.
They don't have this code library code. But, they alllow client can modify firmware.

But this device is not running official openwrt, so we cannot help you here. Since they built the device and provided the firmware, they should be able to tell you how to install additional packages. If the package doesn’t currently exist for the device, you can use their sdk to build it.

Dear Sir.
Yes. I have and know how to install pakage.
My problem is i can't find IEC 60870-5-101/104 conversion function code at anywhere in order to update into current firmware.

Again, we cannot help you here. Your only option is to ask the people who provided the sdk.

Are you trying to install OpenWrt or do something else?

It's not clear why you keep mentioning IEC 60870-5-101/104. Nonetheless, the official OpenWrt installation instructions for firmware can be found at the URL below.
