Unknown default login password Openwrt 18.06.2 on Netgear EX2700

Hello, I just installed the latest version of openwrt 18.06.2 for my netgear EX2700. All went well, if I navigate to 192.168.1.1 luci login page opens.
Usually, no password is set after a fresh install (I used -factory image directly from stock OEM firmware update page). However, it looks like a password is already set and I don't know what it is.
Can you help me? Is there a new default login password in the latest version?

There is is not a default password in 18.06.2.

  • Use the password on your previous firmware, perhaps it was OpenWrt based
  • If the device was purchased in used condition, it's possible that it was flashed by the previous owner, ask them
  • Failsafe mode
  • Attempt to reset router with button

Yes the default is no password. Username root, leave the password box blank, and click Login. Do not click the "go to password configuration" button. Once logged in, set a password under System--Administration.
