I have a TP-Link Archer C60 (and CPE210 as well) and it only works a Wi-Fi interface when I choose 40 MHz. In total there are 3 interfaces (2 APs and 1 802.11s). I use batman for the mesh network.
I use Master in both.
Apparently, it is solved by restarting the two devices after saving the configuration.
